Pre-school
swimming classes

Time to start coming into the water without a grown-up!

Pre-school swimming classes at PaddlePod are really exciting. Delivered by Nemo Swimming, these classes see children come into the water without their grown-ups for the first time. With two teachers to support, you can expect lots of fun, lots of games and lots of carefully-crafted activities designed to help children start moving around around the pool confidently and independently.

Use the links below to search for Nemo Pre-school classes (note this will take you through to DoDays, which is an external booking platform).

This is where most Nemo Pre-school swimmers will start. These classes support children who are transitioning from swimming with a grown-up to coming into the water on their own. Expect lots of game-based activities to build confidence and get children moving around the pool using a SwimFin.

These classes are for children who have swam previously and are confident moving through the water with a SwimFin or similar floatation aid (this may include children who have graduated from our Nemo Toddlers classes or who have moved from a different swim school).

Swimmers in these classes should be able to swim short distances without any floatation aids. They should also be swimming with their faces in the water and with a nice, flat body position. Typically, these classes will be for children who have been attending classes for a couple of terms already.
