We have play areas in all of our venues. These play areas are exclusively for children aged 0-5 years old, and can be used on a drop-in basis.

Soft play

Our soft play frame at PaddlePod (Killingworth) is the perfect size for young explorers - small enough that you can sit back with a cuppa and still keep an eye on them, and big enough that they can explore to their heart's content.
Role play area

You'll also find a lovely role play area at PaddlePod (Killingworth). This area features montessori-style wooden toys on the wall, as well as a range of toys encouraged to let your child's imagination run free!
Play cafe
(Shiremoor)
Shiremoor features a beautiful play area upstairs in our cafe. You'll find a climbing wall as well as a small role-play area and opportunities to jump and explore.

(Whitley Bay)
Whitley Bay features an amazing play area with a large selection of wooden toys, role play areas, construction zones, and opportunities to slide, jump and climb. Described by North East Family Fun as "one of the best play areas" they've ever seen, it's one that you do not want to miss!
Under 1s play area

You'll also find a gorgeous under 1s play area at our Whitley Bay venue. This play area is exclusively for babies aged 0-12 months.
