Before you visit...

Some things you need to know before you visit

We want to make sure that your visit to PaddlePod is as safe and enjoyable as possible. To help us to this - and to ensure that we deliver the best possible service to everybody who sets foot through our doors - we have some “rules” in place that we kindly ask you follow when visiting our venues.

On this page, you will find:

  • General rules (apply to all customers)
  • Swim rules (apply to swimming lessons, family swims, swimming parties, swim with me and other other pool-based sessions)
  • Play rules (apply to soft play and sensory room bookings, and baby & toddler socials)

General (applies to all customers)

  • Please do not visit if you or anybody within your household is displaying COVID-19 symptoms, if you have received a positive test result, or have been asked to isolate for any other reason.
  • No food or drink is to be brought in from the outside (cafes are available on-site).
  • Most importantly, have FUN!

Swim (apply to swimming lesson, family swim, swimming party, swim with me and other pool-based session customers)

  • Please arrive for your session ‘swim-ready’ (i.e. with your costume on under your clothes).
  • Children under the age of 3 (or older if not reliably potty-trained) MUST wear a double nappy in the pool. This is a swim nappy (looks like a 'normal' nappy but is designed o not leak or expand in the water) with a neoprene nappy cover over the top. For the neoprene nappy cover, we highly recommend the Splash About Happy Nappy which you can pick up in our PaddlePod shop.
  • You should arrive 5-10 minutes before your session (please note that latecomers may not be permitted).
  • After your session, please change and vacate the changing areas as quickly as possible.
  • Handy tip for children… onesies! Super-quick and easy to change into after your swim.
  • Let us know if you spot any mischievous mermaids or dolphins in the pool!
